We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a Star for Kids and support children in the community while promoting your business.
We are seeking donations for the silent auction portion of our 3rd annual STARS FOR KIDS Awards and Recognition Night held on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 6:30-9:30 pm in the Auditorium at West Hartford Town Hall. Past donations have included merchandise, goods and various services generously donated by area businesses.
The evening will include live music, food and beverages, the silent auction, and most importantly, the recognition of eight (8) community members receiving the Stars for Kids Award for their outstanding volunteer work and dedication to children.
The honorees include five high school seniors, each receiving a $500 scholarship and three members of our community who “light the way for children” by being Stars for Kids. We are fortunate to again have Susan Christensen, former Fox 61 News Anchor, as honorary chairperson and emcee.
